Redesignated 23 April 1965 as 383rd Quartermaster Detachment, and allotted to the Regular Army.

Activated 4 May 1965 at Fort Lee, Virginia.

Inactivated 15 March 1971 in Vietnam.

Activated 20 September 1971 in Vietnam.

Inactivated 20 March 1972 in Vietnam.

Activated 16 September 1990 at Schofield Barracks, Hawaii.

Inactivated 15 October 1992 at Schofield Barracks, Hawaii.
