600th QUARTERMASTER COMPANY Constituted 23 February 1943 in the Army of the United States as Company D, 687th Quartermaster Laundry Battalion. Activated 25 May 1943 at Camp Ellis, Illinois. Reorganized and redesignated 10 September 1943 as the 600th Quartermaster Laundry Company. Inactivated 28 May 1946 in France. Allotted 10 January 1952 to the Regular Army. Activated 22 January 1952 at Fort Devens, Massachusetts. Reorganized and redesignated 5 October 1953 as the 600th Quartermaster Company. Inactivated 21 December 1956 at Fort Devens, Massachusetts. Activated 25 July 1967 at Fort Bragg, North Carolina.
