Re-designated 21 January 1942 as the 609^th Quartermaster Graves Registration Company 

Ordered into active military duty 27 November 1943 and organized at Fort Francis E. Warren, Wyoming 

Organized Reserves re-designated 25 March 1948 as the Organized Reserve Corps 

Inactivated 1 June 1949 in the Philippine Islands 

Activated 4 August 1949 at St. Louis, Missouri 

Ordered into active military duty 11 September 1950 at St. Louis, Missouri 

Organized Reserve Corps re-designated 9 July 1952 as the Army Reserve 

Reorganized and re-designated 13 November 1953 as the 609^th Quartermaster Company 

Released 10 March  1955 from active military services and reverted to reserve status 

Inactivated 30 March 1955 at St. Louis, Missouri
